VT Dining Services App

The VT Dining Services App was a project developed for an Interface Design course. The inspiration for the App came from walking into over crowded dining halls too many times, and also not knowing where to go to eat with a group of friends. The traffic of each dining hall is indicated by the amount of Hokie Passport (needed for on campus meal purchases) swipes done by cashiers over a select interval of time. The information is easily displayed as either a green person, indicating not busy; a yellow trio, indicating moderate traffic; and a red group indicating very busy. Favorites can be selected for easy viewing along with menu and operational hours of each dining hall. When the phone is shook, a dining hall is selected at random, combating the indecision that faces many groups.
