Using an experimental grid, I decided to capture the sporadic, colorful feeling that most comedians give off. Comedians often bounce around topics, so I used my grids and colors to showcase that.
On this spread, I took a picture of my bath towel hanging from my curtain rod. I took that into Photoshop and turned it red to imitate a red curtain. This is a basic two column grid. The composition is pulled together with analogous color and type.

This was an editorial design project. We were given different articles and we chose which article to design. I chose an article titled "Seven Things Designers Can Learn From Stand Up Comics". I thought this would be a fun article to do because it combines the fun, playful vibes of comedy mixed with design.
