https://bit.ly/Blockaroo_Patent — My work on U.S. Patent 11,557,414 centered on the manufacturable architecture of the magnetic connector system, including sealed magnetic pods, ultrasonic welding strategies, assembly tooling, and insert/co-molding methods for securing the pods into foam block structures. I developed geometry and construction approaches that helped protect the internal magnets from water exposure, corrosion, and degradation while allowing the magnets to flip polarity and the blocks to self-align through ratcheting faces. The result was a scalable magnetic STEM platform that balanced magnetic performance, water durability, child-safety requirements, assembly efficiency, tooling feasibility, and high-volume manufacturing reliability.
