Shakespeare - This poster shows how with simple text one can change the meaning of the image and how we connect with it. In this the adding of the quote "Caesar beware of Brutus" changes the meaning of the fork in the strawberry. This causes the image to have a much more violent and suggestive meaning.

Botanical Night - I created the poster and project concept for this piece. The idea is that the botanical garden is looking to reconnect with a younger generations. The best way to do that is to create a lasting emotion connection with the viewer. To do that the garden would need to tap into the viewers imagination. Local artists would position plants and then back light them on a screen to suggest a narrative and theme.

Memphis - Poster exploring the Memphis font. This shows what can come about through research into your subject. The Memphis font was designed for its readablity and used in the medical field. The blue color was also choosen for its relation to doctor scrubs blue.

Nature of Things - Poster for a pair of graduating art students. Their work had strong ties with environmental issues. I didn't want to highlight one persons work over the other so I decided to scan a leaf that I found and make it my dominate element. I used green to also express their environmental theme.

Feeling Full - A two page magizine spread about new studies about appetite suppressants. The pills were done in illustrator. The blue color was decided on because that shade is acctually itself and appetite suppressant.
