The "Quimby" Fan now sold at Lowes - This is a concept rendering of a new fan that I initiated in Solidworks and then modified and assembled using Corel Paint into a jpeg for presentation to Lowes. This was selected by Lowes and is now being sold in over 700 stores nationwide. I provided the 3D model, AutoCAD drawing and a PDF file to the engineers for production tooling.
Photo is of the new Ceiling fan in Lowes Stores called the San Leandro. I designed the fan and submitted the concept renderings to Fanimation. Fanimation worked with Lowes to market and produce the fan.
CAD rendering I completed and submitted to Fanimation for possibility of sales royalities. Solidworks was used to generate the rendering and Corel Paint was used to assemble and enhance the different rendering views.
Transitional Ceiling Fan - This is a fan that I designed for Minka Aire, the fan division of the MInka Group. I generated a orthographic color rendering and provided full sized design detail drawings.
This fan is sold at Home Depot.
Taos Ceiling Fan - This fan was targeted for the customer that was looking for a more Rustic look. I designed and rendered the concept for evaluation. Once it was selected by the Product Manager for further development, I completed all of the detail drawings for prototyping including the silhoutte of the outdoor scene in the sketch. This fan has a design patent.
Ceiling Fan for Home Depot - This ceiling fan was designed to match an existing lighting product line. My Initial concept sketch is in the lower left hand corner of this image. I provided all design detail drawing specification for prototyping. This Fan is currently sold in Home Depot.
Island lighting - I designed this Island light to be a part of the existing Verona Lighting line by the Minka Group. All design details and proportions were carefully developed to tie into the product line's character.
Chandelier for Minka Lighting - I designed this Chandelier along with a pendant light and larger Candelier as part of a family look.
My concept started with an orthographic color rendering, followed by a full sized orthographic detail drawing.
Exterior Lighting Sketch with Prototype - I designed this for the Outdoor Lighting division of the Minka Group. My concept and initial product section view is located to the right of the photo of the prototype. I used markers for this quick concept sketch. I also provided the full sized detail drawing for product prototyping.
Transitional Outdoor Light - I designed this for the Outdoor Lighting division of the Minka Group. This image shows the original concept sketch created using colored markers and pencils to the right of the photo of the prototype . I also completed the design detail drawings for prototyping.
Bath Lighting - I designed this Bath Light for a certain price point in the product line for the Minka Group. I initially sketched this concept using markers and color pencils. Once it was selected for prototyping by Product Management, I drew all of the design detail specifications needed for prototyping.
