Illustration of Installation Details - This is an image generated for a focus group study. The image started with Solidworks 3D CAD. It was then rendered as a jpeg file and enhanced by Corel Paint. The text and arrows were added in Corel Draw. This was printed in a 34" x 22" format.
The entry of the Solutions Center - This is a rendering of the entrance to a 13,000 square foot Design and Development Center that I completed using color markers. This was one of several renderings that I worked on for a presentation to upper management. This new space which became known as The Solutions Center for USG Corporation. Note the "beam" that breaks through the brick wall. This "beam" was constructed of drywall and used as a wayfinding device to direct customers to the product display area.
Product Samples Center - A 3D model of a new Display, Design and Development Center was completed in AutoCad. This Samples Center was in the 3D model and used as an underlay for this rendering that was drawn using markers. I also designed the Samples Center. There were electronic controls for viewing the samples in different types of lighting.
Elecore Illustration - This was modeled in Solidworks. An existing jpeg photo of the requested Cafe Blend finish was used to create a custom material finish for the Photoworks rendering of this product for Elecore's catalog and web site. The Photoworks rendering was enhanced in Corel Paint.
Colonial Door Frame Design - I completed this illustration for Elecore. They sent a photo of an existing finish that they had in their line and I used the photo to map the finish to the 3D solid model. This photo and the rest of their product line in this finish was featured on their web site. There were over 40 renderings on their web site that I provided.
Colonial Window Frame for Elecore - Product illustration for Elecore using Solidworks and Corel Paint. Several of my renderings were put on their web site.
Illustration for Matrix Panel Product - I completed this Illustration using Solidworks 3D CAD and Corel Paint. This emphasizes how the Matrix panel system resists water damage by allowing air circulation behind panels. This is used in product literature and on the web site. Cutaway section shows sheathing, housewrap, furring strips and extrusion.
Product Renderings for Reveal Panel System - The Product Manager needed some illustrations for the company web site to show design options of the new Reveal Panel System. I provided these three renderings using Solidworks 2011. The cut away section helps convey how the system goes together. This first rendering shows the clear anodized extrusions with the fasteners painted to match the panel colors.
Product Renderings for Reveal Panel System - This is the second rendering of the new Reveal Panel System that I did using Solidworks 2011. This rendering is also currently on the company web site. This design option shows a staggered layout of the clear anodized extrusions with the stainless steel fastener option.
Product Renderings for the Reveal Panel System - This is the third rendering that I provided for the new Reveal Panel System using Solidworks. All three renderings are now on the company web site for this product line.

Illustration

My illustrations were created to show a new concept design, images for product literature or installation instructions. I did these illustrations using colored markers, AutoCAD or Solidworks 3D CAD. A finished CAD assembly was either rendered directly in the CAD program or imported into the Keyshot program and rendered. I then used Corel Photo Paint to enhance the images.
