CAMERA JAPAN Festival 2009 poster- Girl (Illustration: Mademoiselle Annette) - Reflecting the fact that CAMERA JAPAN's home base Rotterdam was chosen to be "European Youth Capital 2009", we programmed many youth specific films and special events catering to that demographic group under the theme "New Playgrounds." Child-like, humorous yet slightly sinister illustrations by Brussel-based Mademoiselle Annette were crucial elements for this year's graphics. The logos and letter types were hand-drawn to create a child-like / friendly feel as well.
