'Vicit Vim Virtus'. Translated this means 'courage has defeated violence'. It is the motto of the city of Haarlem, Netherlands, whrer I live. The design captures the symbolism of the motto. The woman represents a superheroine, because the city of Haarlem hosts the biggest comic festival in the Netherlands.
