Orbit - Electric Grass Trimmer
The goal of this project was to identify and improve the problems with the various electric trimmers on the market. I found in my research that discomfort after extended use was the primary complaint with users. This is due to the fact that most trimmer handles are designed to be held at a certain angle (roughly 45 degrees from the ground). I designed the Orbit electric trimmer to be ideal for every angle by incorporating a 360 degree, circular handle. The circular handle allows the user to continually adjust their hand position to find the most comfortable placement for the task they are preforming.
