ConceptXbike UniProject

In this year 3 university project, my aim was to create a bike running on future technologies, but "retro" styling it to fit in with today's styles, in the same way that retro style "cafe racers" have made a comeback in recent years.
The bike's power-train is electric, which is delivered via two hub motors, mounted low to keep a low centre of gravity for stability. The front suspension is mounted near horizontally, to make the bike safer when breaking. the front swing-arm also lowers when cruising to create less drag and conserve battery life over long journeys. The 3d model was made in Rhinoceros.
