Crescent Shape Multipurpose Hall-Dahab City-Arch. Zakariya Moawad

’My design for a multipurpose hall for the honorable people of Dahab -Mujereh Valley - Dahab City - the municipality of Dahab
The design was inspired by the crescent, as its importance in the awareness and subconsciousness of the inhabitants of the desert - the crescent mass was formed to tilt its roof to form a crescent that shines through the cladding of the inclined surface with aluminum sheets (Alucobond) in golden mirror color, reflective mirrors in a simulation of moonlight, which was mixed with calligraphy for a verse of poetry written by the poet- architect Sharif Al-Aqil in praise of the people of Al-Bawadi and the people of the city of Dahab in particular so that the calligrapher Taha made a plan in the Persian calligraphy so that a mural would be formed covering the surface from a metal material - matt stainless steel - in contrast between the golden linings of the surface floor and the silver linings of the mural -
