THE JEWELLERY BOX IS THE OUTCOME OF A RESEARCH PROJECT THAT ANALYSED A GAP IN THE MARKET OF JEWELLERY STORAGE. IT DIRECTS TOWARDS A PROMOTION OF LONG LIFE & QUALITY.
Made from Victorian Ash & Victorian River Red Gum; sustainable Australian timber, the jewellery box promotes the forestry industry and allows access to a closed loop system.
Natural wood finishes are emphasised by including a beeswax polish sample for user to care for their jewellery box with.
Design for resource conservation:
EcoSelect (or recycled) hardwood timber from renewable plantations
Design for environmentally preferred materials:
Minimal use of glue and where needed use of Non-toxic glues that require no solvents for clean-up.
Natural beeswax finish.
Design for cleaner production:
Only two renewable timbers used -Victorian Ash & Victorian River Red Gum; no additional material
