Collection 1: DANCING DORI
This collection is inspired from the colours and the physical character of the great Indian Thar Desert. The rhythmic waves, the coiling sands and the constant flux of the desert's face were the main elements that were drawn to personify the appeal of the collection.
Collection 2: DANCING DORI colour way
This collection was recreated again to add a more striking character to the product by simply chancing the base colour. The 'cornflower' colour has been chosen to add that look not only it is a predicted colour trend for SS15 but also plays as a beautiful contrast to the beige coiled dori.
Collection 3: BUG'S LIFE
The collection is inspired from the tiny-teeny crawlers which are at most times feared but on close encounter, the appear to be the most majestic creatures. The sizes of the elements are blown up from their actual life scale to exaggerate the motifs. A dramatic appeal is added with the technique of hand embroidery while adding beautiful bejewelled stones and little textures.
The traditional zardosi embroidery was used to interpret the majestic character of beautiful bugs and their starry, shiny surfaces.
