The aim of this project is to develop a collection of prints for a high-end designer brand. It is a hypothetical project where I have taken the fashion label Proenza Schouler as a reference to create a collection of printed fabrics that would encompass the brand's identity in terms of color, form and patterns. Secondly I have taken references from the mosaic sculptures and architectures of Antoni Gaudi which perfectly fit into the sensibility of the brand. The fast and bright colors and the textured compositions of the mosaics are no stranger to the vocabulary of the Proenza Schouler designs. And also the construction of the mosaics gives a broad ground to play with in terms of medium exploration and treatments to create the look of the brand.

These are a few images of the works of Antoni Gaudi. The sculpture of the lizard has been taken forward as a key form of the print to give a bold character. The color palette is selected from the skin of the lizard itself. And overall I have tried to achieve the organic construction of the mosaics and the architecture as a visual treatment on a flat surface.
The images here comprises the explorations which were developed to create a variety of surfaces. It also shows a part of the certain references from my mood board which includes pictures of Proenza Schouler design collections.
