WORK HISTORY: November 2012 – Current Product Manager - Product Designer: Seattle, WA Deep See / Aqua Lung - Manage all dive related product under the Deep See brand - Technical, Pro and sport Diving equipment: Design, develop, test, present, distribute, launch, run QC and place warranty claims to factories for all boots, gloves, bags and knives for all Airliquid affiliates - Work directly with factories by developing tech packs, setting up video conferences and visiting the factory - Travel to corporate meetings and trade shows to present and launch new product offerings 2010 – Sept. 2012 CAD Designer Town and Country Living: New York City, NY - Successfully designed and sold over 397 products - Design unique textile constructions, illustrate color reduced designs for mass reproduction and expand designs for merchandising and sales presentations - Work directly with factories in China and India to develop product for large orders to be placed in Wal-mart, Costco, Kmart, Target and Dollar General - Develop trend and brand analysis, present concepts and put together sales presentations for kitchen license agreements including Paula Deen, Kitchen-Aid, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Sandra Lee and Fiestaware 2008 - 2010 Hardlines Technical Designer & Consultant, 5.11 Tactical Surplus: Modesto, CA - Develop new camouflage pattern for SWAT and other Law enforcement teams - Draft new soft goods for designer at full scale in Illustrator for production - Develop T-shirt graphics designed for 5.11 Tactical’s target market - Developed the hardlines technical library including all bags, pouches, holsters, belts, pads, watches, glasses, knives and hats using reference sheets in Microsoft Excell - Draft all products in Illustrator at full scale for factory production in China - Collect a bill of materials and pricing for each product - Communicate prototype changes to factories in China to ensure the product is mass-produced to the designer’s specifications 2007-2008 Designer Intern Crye Associates: Brooklyn, NY - Work closely with the US Special Forces to assist in design and develop of new technology including heating systems/masks for high altitude low deploy (HALO) diving suits, CAGE armor chassis, Airframe helmet & chops and gear pouch sets. - Prototype concepts for field testing from patterns built in PAD for manufacturing, casting bullet proof plates for testing, build HALO dive masks from CAD plans, prototype temperature control circulatory systems. SKILLS: Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, Image Ready, Solidworks, Graphite, PAD, Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Color Reduction and Color Matching FABRICATION: Textiles including bullet proof, waterproof, heat resistant, light resistant, cold resistant, anti-bacterial, high friction and elastics, Industrial sewing, pattern making, wood and metal lathe, milling, foam casting, plastic casting, mold making, and vacuum forming.
