Let me show you the future.... I'm an industrial designer with the vision, experience, aesthetic sensibilities, and technical know-how to imagine what could be, explain it to others, and then go about creating it. I've had the opportunity to design and develop a wide variety of different products in the medical / bio-med, action sports, consumer electronics, sports protection, toy, lifestyle, and footwear industries. Now I'm designing helmets for Bell.
As an industrial designer for BRG SPORTS my main focus is designing & developing head protection for specialty & mass market cycling helmets under the BELL Brand.
I'm responsible for a variety of design & engineering tasks such as but not limited to:
Human Factors, fit, function, aesthetics, design for manufacturing.
Analog & digital sketching, rendering, & technical drawings
Experience developing product with overseas vendors.
Design & engineering of production CAD parts, injection molding, cut & sew, compression molding, etc. as it relates to helmet development.
Color, material, finish
Electronic component integration & development into helmets.
Rapid production & visualization of innovative & practical solutions to even the most complex helmet design challenges.
In-depth helmet design research
Helmet scaling: direct & differential
Familiarity with testing standards: CPSC, CE, ASTM 1492
Extremely fast high quality 3D models (Solidworks) photorealistic rendering & animations (Keyshot).
Foam modeling, clay modeling, functional mock-ups, appearance models.
High quality presentations & story boarding.
While at Mindflow Design I had the opportunity to design a wide variety of products for the medical/ bio-med, action sports, soft-good, and consumer electronics industries.
I learned how to do fast product development while hitting the mark for the client.
I was responsible for a variety of design consultancy tasks such as but not limited to:

My last semester was spent snowboarding in VT and designing snowboard products for the 2011 season.
Worked alongside product managers and engineers to create innovative solutions for all product categories including: bindings, boots, gloves, packs, luggage, and outerwear.
