A sole-proprietorship company. I am designing and selling handmade fine jewelry through several different venues. This self-directed venture is providing the opportunity to develop skills needed for starting a small business.

Lextant Corporation (Summer 2007)
This was a summer internship where I learned about design research and strategy. Developed research materials, analyzed data, and worked on final deliverables. Worked on multiple teams working for clients like American Eagle and Nationwide Insurance.

Fisher-Price Toys (Winter 2007)
Joined the Girls' product development team. Worked on expanding product boundaries through design.

Procter and Gamble (Winter and Summer 2006)
I got to work in the Babycare design group, where I worked on design research and concepts. I returned in the summer in order to get more responsibility and experience.

Hasbro Toys (Winter and Summer 2005)
I had an awesome time here working on girls' toys, including My Little Pony and The Littlest Pet Shop. I worked with engineering, marketing, and Hasbro Far East. I got to manage my own projects and a good amount of my products will be coming out in the next year.

Sonoco-Corflex Disply and Packaging (Summer 2004)
I learned a lot on my first co-op. I got to design corrugated cardboard displays for companies such as P&G and Kraft. I worked on a multi-disciplinary team of industrial designers, graphic designers, and managers.
