RADU MUNTEAN EXPERIENCE Bus Boy Audio Hollywood, CA 2007 - Present Principal Started and operated Bus Boy Audio , producer of high-end recording gear. Oversaw all aspects of product development and marketing of our innovative audio compressor catering to the music and film industry. General Motors Advanced Design North Hollywood, CA 2000 – 2007 Senior Designer As a senior designer at General Motors Advanced Studio my responsibilities were to develop advanced styling proposals and strategies for all GM brands, as well as collaborate with external advanced concept teams, including Disney Imagineering and Applied Minds on future technology applications. Some of the projects I’ve been involved in while at GM - • CADILLAC Developed strategy as well as 2d and 3d proposals for - Ultimate Luxury Flagship Ultimate Luxury Utility Flagship Ultimate Luxury Sport Flagship • CHEVROLET Developed strategy as well as 2d and 3d proposals for - CAMARO – reinvent the American muscle car for a new generation IMPALA – heritage-based sedan AVEO – develop a new entry-level vehicle acceptable by American standards on GM small car platform SUV – develop an SUV proposal on GM small car platform • PONTIAC GTO – revamp the Pontiac family, reclaim the affordable performance aggressive American styling G6 & G8 – develop new styling direction for the Pontiac brand • SATURN MiniMax – “minimum exterior/maximum interior” • HUMMER Over the last several years I’ve been involved on several new proposals for the Hummer brand including – H2 – a civilized H1 HX – a barebones rock crawler • GRAVITY RACER Designed and oversaw the build of the winning gravity series car Ford Motor Company Dearborn, MI 1995 – 2000 Senior Exterior Designer During my years at Ford I’ve held key design responsibilities in several studios including Advanced and truck studio. While in track studio I was responsible for the Ford “HIMALAYA” show car – THE ULTIMATE 4x4, as well as Ford Harley Davidson F-150. Other noteworthy projects I’ve been involved in – The Lincoln Blackwood and Lincoln LS. In 1999 I served as the design representative on a team commissioned to evaluate a possible merger/acquisition of AM General. My duties as a design representative was to visit their offices/plants, test their products and make recommendations to Ford upper management.
