Tobin Dorn is an American sport designer and a graduate from the New World School of the Arts (Miami) and the Pratt Institute of Design (Brooklyn). He began a career as a footwear designer for Fila and later Puma where he created boot concepts for the film X-Men (2000) and designed sportswear for Olympic athletes. His innovative work has also been featured on the television show 60 Minutes. In 2001, Tobin moved from New York to Brazil where he launched the New Level Design, aka Tobin Dorn Design Studio, a company that offers consultancy design services for sport design (footwear, sportswear, equipment), design innovation, sport branding, project management, art direction, presentations and MMA (mixed martial arts) projects. Tobin is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, and in recent years his artwork has been recognized by leading figures in the mixed martial arts world. He has created official logos for UFC champions such as Anderson Silva and Mauricio Shogun Rua and has designed apparel concept collections for the UFC.
