I serve as the Safety Data Visualization Manager in the Data Management/Customer Support Division, Knowledge Management and Safety Promotion directorate, Commander, Naval Safety Center (NAVSAFECEN). The Safety Data Manager collects and analyzes studies on safety mishap; hazard, survey, and inspection information to create representations to visually communicate information to both wide and targeted audiences, through a variety of electronic and print media. Designed a variety of visual information products in the form of infographics, dials and gauges, geographic maps, spark lines, heat maps, and detailed bar, pie and fever charts to of promoting safety awareness and policy guidance. I have coordinated and participated in the planning and development of visual information requirements in computer graphics, mobile applications, electronic publications (ePUB), digital publishing, animation, and other digital technologies. Created, implemented, and uphold new publishing processes too efficiently produce multiple formats suitable for web use or print. I have researched new graphic design technologies to enhance production, quality, and make new media available to safety stakeholders. Have work the organization with operations analysts, data managers, public affairs specialists and subject matter experts to maintain and adjust the current report production system to produce material for print and digital publications.

I digitally color corrected and manipulated photograph, remove unwanted background, or combine features from different photograph with the aid Adobe Photoshop software. I have laminated large prints and mounted them on foam core. Have assisted the work order clerk by answering the phone giving direction and information to clients who want to get a DA photo taken. Help trained other photographers to use Adobe Photoshop, resolve basic computer problems in using film and flatbed scanners, or down loading images from their digital cameras.
