* Communicates with clients for approvals on designs * Utilizes Archinet for tracking of projects * Works with shop foreman for quality assurance * Coordinates with local municipalities for code checks and permitting

* Oversees cabinetry production * Creates work orders * Works with GC to deliver millwork on schedule * Maintains AIA and budget projections

* Create initial contact of perspective clients domestically and internationally. * Confer with clients and staff to gather information about exhibit space, timelines, budgets, materials, and/or graphic requirements. * Prepare preliminary renderings and/or sketches of proposed projects for approval. * Develop designs based on evaluation of sales, budgets, research information, and environment. * Estimate exhibit-related costs including materials, construction, and rental of props or locations. * Plan for location-specific issues, like space limitations, traffic flow patterns, and safety concerns. * Create detailed construction layouts, and material specifications for pre-production. * Coordinate construction in order to make sure that installations meet design, budget, and schedule requirements. * Coordinate the transportation of sets that are built off-site, and the installation. * Attend exhibit events or custom installations to meet with clients, and to evaluate final product for quality improvement.
