I'm Abril Rodríguez, an Industrial Design student at UABC with a strong passion for creating meaningful, functional, and visually impactful products. I approach every project with a mix of creativity, precision, and curiosity. My design process is driven by problem-solving and storytelling, whether I’m working with physical materials like ceramics and metal or developing visual identities and packaging.
I have experience designing furniture, product packaging, branding, and interactive tools using 3D visualization and digital platforms. My work often blends aesthetics with practicality—seen in projects like OME, a chair selected as a finalist for the national DIMUEBLE 2023 competition, and Mexicali en rojo y oro, an illustrated book exploring cultural fusion through design. I’ve collaborated on exhibit stands, handmade products, and design tools for students using AR and QR technologies. I thrive in teamwork and enjoy taking the lead on planning, resource management, and visual development.
