Aditi Sharma

I am a Designer with a postgraduate (M.Sc. Industrial Design with distinction) degree from Loughborough University, UK and undergrad in Lifestyle and Interior products Design from National Institute of Fashion Design (recognized as a center of excellence by the Govt. of India); I topped All-India with a final semester SGPA of a perfect 10 (on a scale of 10).

I am currently leading the creative team at Adisha Designs, a multi-faceted design house based in Delhi (https://www.facebook.com/adishadesigns.in) I am completely involved in the design, conceptualization and execution of design projects for both our Govt and Private Clients, working in the fields of Architecture, Interiors, Products and Branding services.

Earlier when based in UK, I have been a part of the design team (only 100 selected from the world) exclusive Bigger Idea group, in UK, and worked on projects for Sony Ericsson, Anthony Nolan, GOSH etc. During my previous tenure as a Product Designer at the product division of Jindal Architecture Limited, I gained valuable experience in operations, working hands on with machinery on the shop floor and in different aspects of the Process Planning department. As part of this job profile, I interacted with various functions of the organization and as a result developed an understanding of how these functions work together towards the vision of the organization. I also interned at C.L.Gupta Exports Ltd. one of the Iargest Export house in India and developed design collections specifically for West Elm, IKEA etc. from design to prototyping, I also contributed to the Quality Control Department. As a consultant with DIVISHA, a multi designer store, I am developing the Brand through buying from and placing designers who work in line with the upcoming design trends and needs of the customers. I have been a design advisor to firms such as NEEV, an initiative to provide Green Energy to the world.



I also am a Professor (Guest) at the G.D.Goenka University, teaching post-graduate design students nuances of creative learning, art history and product development cycle.



I have a cross-functional approach with my background and with my initiation skills I have the ability to Lead with my Eye for Detail, Quality, Design and Trends, helping me make my design decisions well informed. Working in an area of my interest and passion is what will give me complete satisfaction. I believe that my postgraduate degree in Industrial Design along with my passion for Design Management, Quality Control, Trend watching, Inclusive and Sustainable Design Practices will be the best combination that would enable me to contribute right from the start. These qualities combined with my effective inter personal and communication skills will make me a valuable asset.
