As a Lead Designer, sourced materials overseas within childrenswear guidelines by effectively collaborating with the Production and Merchandising teams. Communicated effectively with overseas factories and vendors. Managed all details in the design process from concept to prototype to production. Presented collection to Sales team and buyers each season. Shopped retailers and vendors for color palettes, silhouette and graphic print inspiration. Oversaw approvals for production and utilizing the light box for color standards.

As a contract designer performed tasks for various companies. Tasks included creating tech packs, preparing presentations for merchandisers, creating mood boards, and conducting trend research. Due to a strong work ethic, my contracts were often extended or renewed resulting in ongoing relationships with a number of companies. Designed Womens/ Girls/ Young Men’s outerwear and swimwear for a private label company. Worked closely with Sales to meet the specific needs of retailers. Designed with a diverse range of retailers in mind including Forever 21, Macy’s and The Buckle. Communicated daily with overseas factories for sample making and production purposes. Created tech packs for styles. Designed graphics and prints for swimwear. Created linesheets for Sales meetings.

Designed textile/ cad patterns for a private label and branded mass market Junior cut and sew line. Used Illustrator and Photoshop to create original print artwork. Created linesheets for Sales team meetings. Digitized the seasonal color palette.
Ensured color accuracy in all artwork.

Began position as Intern working with the Limited Too Trend and Color Director and was moved to the Accessories Design team to assist with graphics creation.
