Industrial Design is a gateway for me. It joins together my deep love of knowing people, solving problems, artistic expression, and seeing the change in a project from start to finish. I have been inspired through the work of design in my life. There is a real impact good design can have, greater than simply an aesthetic appreciation for an object. I have witnessed designs that improve life so much, that the lives of those impacted, have literally been extended. My goal is to design like that. I cannot achieve such a goal by my own accord. Design that changes lives takes a team. I believe that no matter how great one designer is, they cannot solve for someone's need with their perspective alone.
