About
Since graduating from the University of York with a BSc in Film & Television Production, I have aimed to continue my focus towards working within the creative industries.
During my time at the university, I have developed my interest for production design and was responsible for conceiving and realising the look of a number of projects. This included the comprehensive production design of a short film set in WW1, a 3-part TV magazine show with vibrant set design, among other projects.
Upon leaving university, I continued to pursue a career in the art department for film and television, working on a number of high profile TV shows and a feature film.
Having also completed a year studying Fashion with Business at the University of Brighton, I am also adept at working with a variety of textiles and have a good understanding of print finishes and fabric embellishment techniques.
I am also experienced in multidisciplinary craft, having worked decoratively and structurally with timbers, metals, plastics, clay, paper/card and furniture upholstery. I am a proficient drawer/painter both in traditional and digital media, and I am confident with graphic art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Photo/Designer and Rebelle, among others.
My interest in fashion and graphics has recently let me to return my focus to apparel design. Over the past couple of years following the pandemic I have been developing my own clothing brand, 'BeWild Apparel', a festival and active lifestyle/sport brand with a focus on all-over prints and vibrant artwork placements.
I have also developed an online furniture store called 'Lost Gardens Boutique' which focuses on reupholstering intriguing antique/retro furniture in vibrant and contemporary fabrics as well as producing quirky decor items and artworks.
I aim to continue to develop my graphic design skills within the workplace alongside the continued development of my furniture and clothing brands as side projects.

'The Dengineers' -Season 2CBBCManchester, United KingdomMay 2016 - Sep 2016 (4 months)Design Assistant - closely involved with designers throughout the entire design process and creation of unique playhouses for children. Alongside the creative process, my work also involved liaising with vendors and negotiating a competitive price for services/materials to keep to tight budget constraints. I communicated regularly with colleagues and vendors to ensure deadlines were met in a cost effective manner.
