INSIDE-OUT

The underlying theme of the project is the uchi-soto philosophy.
The culture clash described by Japanese people allowed us to produce fabrics that reflect both the fight itself and the Far East culture.
My representation of journey includes the freedom of movement functionality, tied to an eastern footprint that is noticedin the styles and colours of the fabrics that reflect the tradition, one example is the chinese quilted one . The style make the garment ideal for a trip to meet every culture. A more actual retelling of the uchi-soto philosophy, that itself becomes once again a collision-encounter between tradition and modernity, between philosophy and reinterpretation.
