Designed suspension linkages, tube-weldments, link kinematics. Applied Solidworks FEA to welded non-uniform components, with both bearing and surface loading. Machined threaded inserts and designed weld fixtures.

Designed long-travel suspension linkages at first, packaging the gearbox, engine, and driveshafts within multiple layouts. Designed and machined bushings, machined and welded a wheel-bearing carrier for the rear axles. The following year, I was responsible for the entire car design, and due to limited team members, designed the majority of the vehicle. Specifically - CNC machined (outsourced manufacturing) steering knuckles, waterjet suspension tabs, High-mounted front a-arms and custom rear trailing arms. Also designed the frame, and packaged the drive-train/power-train as well as the driver ergonomics.
