Shapes billboard ad - My wife is a Shapes personal trainer. This is a billboard I made for her in-house marketing contact. It's entirely drawn in Painter, then bounced back-and-forth from Photoshop to Painter until I got the effects I wanted. Lastly, the lettering is done in Adobe Illustrator.
Brath cartoon giveaway - Traditional materials, non-photo blue pencil, india ink, sable brush to ink. Since the Brath team was a very detailed, realistic crew, for the Brath team giveaway I went the other way: caricature. We all liked the results. Thanks, fellas! Brath was Chuck Dixon, Andrea DiVito, John Dell, Rob Schwager, and I got to letter the issues. (And draw Brath this once).
Caricature of Matt Fjelstadt - caricature in colored pencil and ink of my instructor at Art Institute - Tampa
Caricature for my dad - A traditional media caricature, drawn in colored pencil and india ink markers. That's the house I grew up in, by the way. The car's fictional, but my dad isn't.
Caricature of Quentin Tarentino - caricature in pencil
Caricature of David Caruso - caricature in ink
