Barzin Keywan

I have experience of working as a mechanical product design engineer at IDEM Safety Switches. Although the position was temporary, the experiences I gained were invaluable. As part of the research and development team, my main responsibilities within the company included establishing relationships with suppliers, investigating and reporting technical faults and also producing 2D drawing and developing 3D models using Solidworks. During this period I worked closely with the manufacturing and assembly departments and learnt the importance of designing for manufacture.

role while studying for my BA Product Design (hons) degree at University. During this role I was
trained to perform all tasks within the store which include stockroom operations, cash desk duties and shop
floor duties. During my time at River Island I developed my skills of working within a team and built great
relations with customers and managers.

A part time role taking photographs in busy and vibrant clubs in the Manchester area. As Photography is a
personal passion of mine, I took on this role to develop and also gain experience of working in a fast paced
environment.

During the two month internship period at Dana Vista, my roles included concept development of existing
products, client consultation and learning the basics of 3D CAD modeling.
