      Responsible for the design and development of a range of helmets, from the award-winning Ambush all-mountain helmet and Dissident full-face helmet, to helmets for recreational riders and toddlers. Created the department’s product development process and documentation system.

      Bell Helmets/Giro Sport Design
      1989 - 2009 (20 years)
      Bell Helmets – Responsible for the design of Bell’s line of motorcycle helmets (Moto 7R, Moto 8, Star, MX-1, Moto 9) which reintroduced the Bell brand to the motorcycle market after an absence of more than a decade.
      Giro Sport Design – Designed and developed Giro’s mountain bike helmet line (Terramoto, Supermoto, Mad Max, Exodus, E2). Created a proprietary silk screen/vacuum form helmet decoration process including graphic development, generation of printing specifications, printer liaison and hand-off to manufacturing.
    • Senior Industrial Designer/Team Leader
      Xerox Corporation
      1987 - 1989 (2 years)
      Responsible for the industrial design and human factors aspects of the Xerox 4220 network laser printer. Duties included coordination of a multi-national design team to ensure that the product adhered to Xerox’s strategies for both appearance and operability, presentation of design proposals to Engineering and final presentation to Xerox senior management.

      1983 - 1986 (3 years)
      Privately funded think tank in the commercial furniture space. Duties spanned from conceptualization through prototype fabrication and documentation. Products ranged from air purifiers and wire management devices to complete office furniture systems and accessories.
    • Industrial Designer
      Atari Home Computer Division
      1982 - 1983 (1 year)
      Responsibilities included development of computer peripherals compatible with Atari’s line of home computers from joysticks to printers and computer furniture.
