I design and make products and installations to clients’ specifications. A collaboration with a local retail client has led to the creation of a new jewelry line made with semi-precious stones. The collection was awarded a Luxury Lifestyle Award in Milan in 2021, and the collaboration was continued to produce the second jewelry line for the same client. The second collection is now in production.

As a senior product designer at Engino Toy Systems I am helping the company evolve in parallel to current market trends by developing new product lines that aim to introduce Engino into subscription toy services. To achieve this I coordinate a multi-disciplinary team of company employees and external collaborators, including but not limited to educators, graphic and multimedia designers, printing specialists and manufacturers.

As the lead designer at Paradigm Shift, I was involved in all stages of designing a product, from conception to fully functioning prototypes. I researched the intended market to assess their needs and how to address them, before sketching initial ideas and producing rough mock-ups. I then developed multiple designs in SolidWorks for rapid prototyping. Rigorous user testing ensured that designs were both ergonomically sound and aesthetically pleasing. As a team, we assessed the feasibility of each design through thorough testing to create working prototypes.

Mediloom is a subsidiary of Paradigm Shift, involved in the development of a new device for the medical sector. Specifically it is a tool for assisting doctors in their assessment of a patient’s gastroinstenstinal condition, via the use of small cameras, mounted at the edge of an anoprobe.
As a project leader I worked on delivering proof of concept designs, communicating with mass manufacturers, rapid and test prototypes. The project was largely funded by the EU’s innovation schemes and was awarded an IF Design Award in 2021.

My role at the LDS degree show allowed me to work closely with my team to organise and direct the completion of the three-day event, including a physical booklet with the works of 150+ student designers.

During my year-long placement with Engino, I expanded some of the company’s existing construction toy lines as well as developed new ones, including QBOIDZ, StemHeroes and a collab project with JCB. Most of my work produced during this time has been internationally recognised, while the majority is in production and available for purchase.
