Traditionally trained as a product designer, I began my career in the automotive industry, working with BMW and Honda. Eventually moved into the role of Head of Product Design at Samsung’s Innovative Design Lab in Seoul, Korea. In 2003, I launched my own design consultancy, specializing in bringing consumer products to life through innovative, trend-driven products.
Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to consult for top-tier companies including Mattel, Spin Master, Hasbro, Fisher-Price, and Jakks Pacific, developing both original and licensed toys that resonate with global audiences. My work spans everything from kids’ products to adult collectibles, blending creative vision with hands-on execution.
I’m passionate about translating storytelling into tangible play experiences, which makes me uniquely suited to help clients build compelling toy lines that extend the impact of their tentpole titles. In addition to consulting, I teach part-time at ArtCenter and Otis College of Design, where I mentor the next generation of toy designers.
As the founder of Object8, I’ve led product development efforts for hundreds of brands across a wide range of toy categories. My design leadership has earned numerous industry awards, including recognition from The Toy Association, IDSA, Business Week, AGDA, HOW, and ID Magazine. I bring a proven track record in design strategy, creative management, and global product development.
