I have recently finished a degree in Product Design at the University of Derby and I am now looking for full time employment.

    Personal Skills

    • Leadership – I am currently the president of the University of Derby badminton club which has greatly improved my skills when working with a team and has also greatly improved my organisational skills.

    • Cooperative work – Many of my projects at University have been within in a group. This has shown me how to work well with in a group and also how to use each member’s strengths to create a superior design concept.

    • Communication – For three years I was the student representative for my university course year group which has improved my communication skills by me listening to my year groups’ opinions and criticisms and relaying them to the Product Design committee which is made up of students, lecturers and the head of faculty.

    • Flexibility – Whilst working at Time4Sleep a lot of my time was used working as a web administrator but I also helped in the warehouse dispatching orders for delivery, helping to organise and check over finance files and also taking customer orders over the phone and in the shop showroom.

Over the last two years me and the committee of the badminton club have improved it tremendously through acquiring an Olympic level coach, increasing membership numbers creating one of the most popular clubs at the university and also obtaining performance sports status which only three sports clubs have. All this also helped the teams to attain their highest league rankings since the establishment of the club. I also pioneered the introduction of men’s 2nd team to the club and also helped to create a women’s 1st team which greatly improved participation in the sport at the university. Over the two years of me being on the committee we have received the award for most improved club , been nominated for most charitable club and myself being nominated for club president of the year.
