Chair Recovery

I bought this old chair, on its last leg, from a thrift shop and refurbished it so it can live on as my new studio chair. I kept and extensively cleaned some of the original yellow leather. I also added felt and wood panels to the armrests and back. It took hand stitched sewing, wood staining and finishing, and it was the first time I had done anything like this so it was a valuable learning experience for me as I went along. I plan on adding a few finishing touches to the fasteners by covering them with nice brushed metal caps.
