Current kitchen sponges are flimsy and do not clean counters efficiently. This kitchen sponge features a co-molded silicone edge that can be used to scrape and clean messy counters. The product was features on Oprah.com and Casabella.com.
This project was designed for Casabella to mark their 25th year in business. The scope was to design and prototype a concept robotic cleaner that showcases the vision of the company into the next 25 years. The prototype was unveiled at the 2013 International Housewares Show in Chicago. It was later published on Tuvie.com.
This product is a plate sponge that utilizes a co-molded silicone edge that can be used to scrape food off of plates. There are two large cuts in the sponge that hug the corners of plates, bowls, and cups when cleaning. The concept was featured on the front page of Core77.com
Good Housekeeping listed the kitchen and bathroom squeegee sponge line I designed for Casabella within their article "5 Top Cleaning Product Trends 2013."
Gizmodo Australia featured the concept robotic cleaner, Limbo, I designed for Casabella on their website.
