HydroTable

In an effort to solve the problems of gardening in the winter, and limited access to fresh leafy greens during these blistering months I developed a hydroponic kitchen island. This table has dynamic qualities in itself, using the support of the “inconvenient” lower shelf as an asset to push the confines of standard table legs. This table is made from recycled and recyclable materials. The ideal being that once it loses its value the material can be easily harvested and made into something new. The HydroTable was very much inspired by William McDonough’s Cradle to Cradle.
