Marco Abbate

I am an Italian Licensed Architect, Yacht and Industrial Designer and Ph.D.

I am Contract Professor at School of Design at Politecnico di Milano – Italy, since 2008.

I have reached all the academics titles and competencies maintaining a strong link with the working world, this professional choice allow me today to manage the professional assignment in autonomy or working profitably in team with other designers in any step of design process.

I have a strong ability in the elaboration of the design concepts with free-hand drawing technique for the rendering.

In fields of yacht and industrial Design, so as in the other fields of the architecture or those for hotels and restaurants, I have a good skill in FF&E design management.

Specifically, in he field of yacht design my target is the elaboration of new models of motor or sailing boats, with classic or innovative architectures, wooden, Fiberglas or aluminium made, or refitting existent ones.

As Ph.D. researcher in Industrial Design, specialized in field innovative yacht design, I am interested to develop new technological architectures of boats supported by ecological energetic systems and equipped by electric or hybrid propulsion.
