I'm the guy that keeps the train moving.
I'm not just a photographer and videographer, I'm a production accelerator, and that means knowing how to prioritize goals while minimizing obstacles. Ambitious projects with tight deadlines shouldn't be scary, they should be an opportunity to push hard and learn new ways of getting things done.
For ten years I have been a photographer, freelancer, designer, and self-motivated maker of all things visual. I graduated with a degree in graphic design and applied my understanding of art and composition to every aspect of my creative work. These days I work as a product photographer as part of a bigger marketing team that is changing the way people buy and sell online. As the lead in developing a video a dept I'm actively finding new ways to market eCommerce as well as manage customer expectations and drive increased sales.
I ask a lot of questions, I work very hard, and I do it right and I do it on time.

Lead PhotographerSelf-EmployedBrooklyn, NYMar 2006 - Present (20 years 3 months)Seven plus years of working as a freelance taught me about flexibility, hard work, and tenacity. With work ranging from calendar shoots for Harley-Davidson of Manhattan to covering nightlife and the New York City burlesque scene, portraits, product photography, and just about anything else imaginable. My work has been in most major nightlife publications in New York, hot rod magazines, and local papers. I sell fine art prints in Germany and the UK and will soon begin working on a series of short films.

Senior PhotographerFeb 2013 - Oct 2014 (1 year 8 months)As the lead photographer at an ecommerce site that deals in brands like Beats, Sony, Bose, Braun, The Sharper Image and others, my main role is produce images that sell product and do it consistently. This means not just stunning photography, but also understanding and being able to showcase the individual qualities of products that accelerate buying decisions.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the look of product photography across the site regardless of source. Overesee digital asset management and ensure best workflow practices are followed by the team. Manage product sample flow, scheduling, and tracking. Create a framework for and provide the technical knowledge to develop a future video production department including sound and lighting.
Accomplishments: Created a one-of-a-kind shooting space that allowed us cut post-production time in half and vastly improved final image quality and overall asthetics. Implemented new image servers to handle a doubling of the previous workload while improving the security of the image database and adding a cloud backup solution. -

Freelance DesignerThe Learning AnnexApr 2010 - Jan 2013 (2 years 9 months)Responsible for creating design essential to the relaunch and rebrand of the new website. Handle web ad and print ads for partner companies including Univision, PleaseFund.com, and others.
Streamlined the catalog production process by teaming up with press operators to create easy to adapt and modular files while creating a more consistent brand image throughout. Developed production graphics for partner sites and related advertising.
