I am first and foremost a Print Designer.
4 Color Process
My role in print production over the years have been varied from key player in planning, design and file management all the way to the hands-on running of print projects followed by finishing; cutting, binding, and folding.
The old adage that "nothing beats hands on experience" rings especially true when it pertains to graphic design and printing. File preparation and project planning are key elements that are often lost on many inexperienced designers. As a potential hire my major assets are the insight and foresight that comes my many years of experience in the printing industry. Being organized, clear planning, thorough communication, a strong background wrestling with a file formats in a variety combinations, and being prepared for unexpected surprises or pitfalls are what make me an effective Print Designer.
