Mesa Youth Creative Agency is a youth work-based learning enterprise within Mesa Public Schools where youth are paid to work.

I lead the MYCA Digital Media Design Studio in fulfilling client design services. The design studio employees are between the ages of 14 and 19. I mentor them in visual identity, graphic design, signage, banners, publication, photography, video, animation, and social media content. The youth manage real projects in a client-facing capacity.

Building, inspiring, and preparing future creative leaders is an honor. They are my living resume.

Wizards of the Coast is a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc.
I directed and led the creative product development of plastic miniatures/game pieces. I art directed and designed packaging and print components for the Star Wars Miniatures game and the RPG book series. Managed outside freelancers on character art creation for all visual assets; commissioning hundreds of illustrations (art assets) per game release.

* Overhauled review and approval processes between Wizards of The Coast, LucasArts and Hasbro Far East resulting in fewer production rounds, improved communication and a two-week reduction in preproduction hours.
* Conceptualized and directed the package design of The Star Wars Miniatures "The Battle of Hoth" Holiday SKU to increase mass-market appeal. Results: Greater shelf presence in Target's toy and game section.
* Art directed the successful re-launch of the Star Wars Role Playing Game Book series beginning with the Star Wars Saga Edition Core Rulebook.
* Orchestrated the rebranding of the Star Wars Miniatures Game packaging line to a smaller size while improving upon the message hierarchy and readability. Results: A 20% reduction in cost and fewer returns.
