I am a freelance designer based in Wellington, NZ. I have previously worked for Dyson in the UK and completed freelance projects for clients in Dublin and London.

Shown here are mainly my own personal projects. Ellydees and Steelcase are both freelance jobs I completed in 2011. Citro is a college project from 2012.

  Voluntary work at The Mill, a community centre on Coppermill Lane. Designing and building custom furniture and fittings on a tight budget to meet the Launch deadline.

  During second year of my course I constructed a detailed 1:10 model of a desk system for Workplace Environments.
  
  The Model was of a Steelcase Fusion desk system and was constructed from balsa, ply and aluminium.

  Working part time for Ellydees, an Irish company designing sustainable lighting products, to research, design and prototype an aluminium outdoor light fixture. I detailed the design of the product and finally machined the prototype using a lathe and a milling machine.

  Gained valuable design experience working part time. My role included contributing to idea generation for projects, conducting initial research, concept development, 3D modelling in Solidworks, rendering in Photoview and prototyping products.

  While working in Morrissey Engineering I fabricated various products from both stainless and mild steel. I used a variety of machines including belt sanders, hydraulic punches, Air powered spray guns, Mild and Stainless Steel Welders and a large variety of hand tools.
