-I am brought into projects when a Designer is needed over using a Creative.
-When I am brought in initial Creative has been done from a previous project or earlier in the current projects life. So I take that Creative and Design new artwork.
-I will do some Creative work as well when needed.
-Adapting Creative to client and vendor specifications. Often design work is needed to adjust the creative into die lines or digital file sizes.
-Apply print production processes to files.
-Create Hi Res Key Visuals and assets. As well as organize them.
-My print production knowledge is used by the Creative team and Project Leaders to make decisions in the Creative and Planning processes. Examples of this is my knowledge of die lines and structures. Along with my knowledge of inks.
-I am brought into work on prototype projects. My Print Production knowledge helps with designing and pushing ideas of what is possible in print pieces.
-Speak with clients and our partners about Print Production methods and best solutions for projects.
-Digital work will include creating artwork for Facebook post, creating assets for 3D renders and Unreal Engine projects.

- Preparing files for press. This inlcudes insuring the files have been
properly set up for the chosen press as well as the other machines
and tools that are used to create the final product
- Color Match artwork. Adjust colors and run test so that
the colors match the color book or supplied samples
- Speak with clients over the phone and in person.
Attend conference calls for large projects
- Operate and help maintain Mimaki Ink Jet Press

- Using brand standards and reference files I produce artwork for many different types of packaging and trays
- Ensure quality by checking the work of my colleagues
- Help maintain and keep up to date the brand standard guides and reference files
- Attend meetings and remain vocal to my colleagues on the progress of work and how we can better accomplish task

- Some of my responsibilities during production include: applying art to dies, manipulating photoshop files to place into art, adding new copy to existing or new jobs, and placing new graphics to existing art.
- Prepare production art for press during "graphic assembly" phase which includes applying traps, hold backs, and barcodes along with any other variations in the job description.

- Prepare graphic material for press includes color correcting, retouching and relinking of files
- Design graphic material for clients such as posters, post cards
- Create web based materials and build / maintain company website
- Work with POP and variable data

Photograph and sell prints to customers
Provide customer service

- Created web and email marketing materials for clients
- Assisted with both pre and post production
- Developed 12 day Christmas marketing campaign

- Updated Division's web pages by utilizing content management tools
- Created brochures and invitations to promote events and workshops
- Attended meetings and networked with professors
and chairs to stay current with departmental changes
