I feel I should start off by saying "hello", maybe a "how are you?" is appropriate as well. I am a graphic designer, I am in New York, and I have a need to communicate using something other than words. Using things like pictures, color, and typography to fill the conversation with words neither of us are saying. Words to me have always had their limits; they can be misused, misunderstood, or just not tell all of a story (limiting). When you add a color to a word, suddenly its meaning changes slightly. If you change the font, then it changes even more, and if you can use a picture (photo or illustration) to replace that word, sometimes you can say even more.
