I’m a UX Expert at Global Bay in Bristol, UK, and a very responsible one at that, as I manage everything from UI concepts to front-end implementation.
Before that, I was a social and motion designer for Buff Motion. I wasn't just shaping the brand's digital presence across platforms- I was also the go-to coworker everyone loved collaborating with.
My work wasn't just limited to creating motion assets and dynamic visuals. I also brought my creativity and wisdom to cross-functional team meetings, which is the reason why we brought so many marketing campaigns to life. Yes, I wear many hats in one day.
But since it has become difficult to make a living with just one gig, on weekends, I take my laptop outside, sit on the porch, and wear the hat of a freelance web developer and UI/UX designer, partnering with clients across the world and creating friendly, intuitive, and fully responsive websites for them. Tyler, my Labrador, keeps me company.
I’ve been a contributor to many UI/UX design projects, and a vector art enthusiast on PeoplePerHour as well. I create icons, I design illustrations, and sometimes sketch a few graphics in my notebooks, just for fun.
When I need a creative break from working on Figma files, I write articles for Grafik Magazine.
This fall, I’ll be stepping into a more formal role. My student await to meet their new adjunct professor for a “Fundamentals of UI/UX Design” course on Coursera. I always believed that I would make an excellent teacher, and I’m excited to help the younger designers reach their full potential.
