Draper PREDICT96 Organ-on-Chip

An important part of product design is transforming the complex and unfamiliar into something simple and approachable. Robert de Saint Phalle and I had the privilege of collaborating with Draper's PREDICT96 Organ-on-Chip team to develop enclosures, UI, and graphics for their prototype microfluidic system. The bioengineering tool combines 384 wells, 192 micro-pumps, 96 individual samples, and real-time sensors into a single portable device to provide accurate, flexible, and scalable ways to test drug therapies. Our process focused on underscoring simplicity and usability in clinical settings, as well as creating clear collateral for publications and marketing.?

I acted as Industrial Design & User Experience co-lead under Lead Designer and Head of Creative Direction Robert de Saint Phalle, in collaboration with Draper's PREDICT96 Organ-on-Chip team.
