Hi, my name is Jess :)

I have been a professional Product Developer, Designer, Trend Forecaster, Graphic Designer and Illustrator for 15 years. Previous to that I graduated from RMIT B.A. Textile Design with Distinction.

I specialize in childrenswear design, and have designed for all areas of childrenswear such as girls and boys outerwear, babieswear, sleepwear, underwear, socks, accessories and nursery products.

I am currently working part-time at Halcyon Nights as a Production Manager - Design Assistant. I also run my own small business Pip+Phee and freelance design as a product developer, graphic designer for various apparel labels.

-Advanced Adobe Creative suite skills (Mac and Pc)

-Trend Forecasting, creating storyboards and presentations

-Graphic Design specializing in children's graphics all genders and ages, yardages, placement prints, embroidery, applique, knitwear, graphics for 3D product (Nursery goods)

-Liasing with buying teams, overseas merchandise teams, suppliers

-Working with QA teams on quality, fits & specs

-Preparing Rangebooks, Lookbooks and organising Photoshoots

-Organising & Designing Packaging, Labels etc.

-Managing sales agents, collating sales orders & processing orders

- Setting up Production schedules and production management

-Setting up Tech Drawings & Size Specifications (Children's & Babieswear)

I have designed for many childrenswear brands, such as: Kmart, Levi's kids, Freshbaked kids, Fredbare kids, Mill&Mia, Pure Baby, Target, Best&Less & more. I am a very motivated hard worker who is always passionate about whatever project I may be working on.
