* Responsible for quarterly trend and line presentation to buyers, highlighting brand appropriate interpretations of trends and partnering with buyers to merchandise the line * Shop key domestic markets, NY monthly, and LA biannually * Direct sourcing team and graphic artist on seasonal development for fabric, trims and artwork * Create concept boards for graphic artists and direct them on developing prints and art for product * Travel to Central America to oversee production and sample making, study screen printing/fabric dying techniques that are affordable and trend appropriate for line * Design knit and woven seasonal programs across all product types dresses, tops, bottoms, screen tees, new product ideas * Partner with technical team in fittings, provide fabric/trim info and sketches to create PDM packages * Provide design information to planning and costing teams * Partner with planning throughout each season, looking at current product sell through and sales forecasts to ensure the right product design for customer is on the floor * Travel to see store monthly, visually merchandise using CADs for in-store placement of product * Research all competitor product, creating seasonal books with costing/fabric information on competitor product, using that information in development of line

* Creating complete sample/production packages including flat sketches, specs, construction details, design elements (fabric and trims) * Work with technical/spec team in fittings to ensure correct design is executed * Create CADs for buyer meetings * Approve fit/artwork/lab dips/ trims for production * Daily communication with overseas factories on sample production
