This is an adaptable stair lift that
can carry your vacuum cleaner or
washing machine (when you buy a
new one), can give you a hand to
walk upstairs, carry you standing, or
sitting.
It uses a standard Thyssen Krupp’s
drive unit, adapted to hold a handrail and a platform. The first is used to rest the passenger’s feet while sitting. However used in its first stage, without a chair, it can
be unfolded to carry big objects such as appliances or suitcases for example. Secondly, a handle can be placed instead of the chair, and it can be used in two ways; either hold it to walk up, or hold it while
standing in the platform (both are adjustable in height).
