The second project I developed with Tvilight involved the early stages of development and up until proof of concept stage of their second generation of intelligent street lighting solution.
During this project I carried on research, definition of product requirements, components testing, concept design, prototyping and concept validation.
Iterative product design and testing was carried on in several stages of development. First testing how sensors react in different angles, heights and positions, then testing combinations of sensors in different angles, heights and positions, and finally adding a “golf ball” lens which had extensive tests in order to select the best one for this application.
The outcome of the project was a validated concept which was further developed by the company until its recent launch.
